Caesar Salad Dressing

When the grocery stores pulled off the shelves my favorite Caesar salad dressing, I knew it was time to create my own. It took a little time to find something using common ingredients, but this is worth the search! Toss with crisp Romaine lettuce and homemade croutons and you have a satisfying salad.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup light mayonnaise (you could also substitute with nonfat, plain yogurt)

  • 2 Tablespoons milk

  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Directions

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together all the ingredients listed above. Toss with lettuce and croutons or put in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator to use later.
